At Barry, Jordan is a Teaching Assistant for Legal Research and Writing. She is also a member of the Barry Law Trial Team and competed in the 19th Annual National Trial Advocacy Competition in Michigan along with the Texas Young Lawyers Association National Trial Competition. She also serves as both the Secretary for Counsel for Children and Senator for the Student Bar Association.
Here at Coye Law Jordan works hard as a Law Clerk in the Veteran's Disability Department. She helps to evaluate our VA cases and draft legal memorandums to appeal decisions made by the VA regarding disability benefits for Veterans.
After graduating from Law School, Jordan would love to continue working in Veteran's Disability! She says "There are so many Veterans, even dating back to the Vietnam War, who still need our help to obtain assistance for injuries they suffered during their service. I love the litigation aspect of being an attorney, and VA Disability is the perfect balance of litigation and writing."
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her guilty pleasure is watching cheesy Hallmark movies, especially Christmas ones. She also loves a good book!
When we asked Jordan why she was inspired to become an attorney, she told us "I wanted to become an attorney because I get to do everything I love! Read, write, and my personal favorite, argue, all to make a difference in someone else's life! Law School can make you doubt yourself, but the moment I finished my first mock trial, I knew I was exactly where I belonged, a courtroom."
